Vision Academy is the focused discipleship vehicle of our Church.

Every believer, young and old is called to grow as a disciple and to make disciples. Vision Academy exists to help people grow in their discipleship to Jesus by equipping them with a strong foundation in theology and leadership.

Academy Overview

  • Academy 101 is a free course for people wanting to establish or develop their Christian Faith. These run 3 times a year on the off week of Connect Groups. 101 will teach you what it truly means to be a follower of Jesus and give you practical tools to help you read the bible, pray and navigate the complexities of a godless culture.

  • 102 is a free course for Christians wanting to develop as a leader. You will be provided with a clear next step and coaching in this course.

Academy 101

Academy 101 is Vision Church’s foundational discipleship course, designed for those who have recently begun following Jesus or are considering water baptism as their next step.

This free course provides a strong biblical foundation and explores key topics including the Gospel, Baptism, renewing the mind, developing a personal devotional life, understanding the Church, and living missionally.

  • Mondays 6:30PM

  • Starting 5th October 2026

  • Runs fortnightly

  • Both Feilding and Palmerston North Campus

  • Free to sign up

Academy 102

Academy 102 is Vision Church’s leadership development pathway, created for those who are looking to grow in their leadership capacity or take their next step into leadership. Completion of Academy 102 is a required part of the leadership journey at Vision Church.

This free course explores key leadership principles including Presence Leadership, Servant Leadership, cultivating healthy and resilient relationships, leading yourself well, leading others effectively, and developing a strong prayer life.

Academy 102 is currently available exclusively at our Palmerston North campus. Throughout both Academy 101 and 102, participants receive personalised support and coaching from our team, helping them grow in character, confidence, and leadership effectiveness.
