Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Whether you are looking to invest in developing a strong foundation for a lasting marriage through premarital counselling or to reserve a venue for your wedding here at Vision, we are excited to celebrate with you on your wedding day.

COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT PREMARITAL COUNSELLING

  • No. You do not have to be a member of Vision to go through our premarital process or to have one of our pastors officiate your wedding.

  • If you are interested in having a Vision pastor officiate your wedding, premarital counselling is required prior to the wedding. If the premarital counseling is completed outside of Vision, counselling must be scripture-based, and we will need documentation of completion. This documentation should include the curriculum studied, a minimum of 6 hours completed and who facilitated your process on a form from your premarital counsellors. We recommend a minimum of a $200 honorarium for any of our pastors who officiates your wedding and should be given on the day of the wedding.

  • Yes. The cost is $60 per couple. This covers the online assessment and the materials used for premarital counseling.

  • The counselling will take place at Vision Church during work hours.

    Each of the 3 - 5 sessions will be 1 hour in length and we recommend you notify your employer in advance.

  • Each session is 1 in length and can be up to 5 sessions, however this will be discussed with you based on availability of both parties and length of engagement season.

WEDDINGS AT VISION

  • Yes you have to be an active member of Vision Church to use the building for your wedding ceremony.

  • Attend our services, and complete Next Steps.

  • For a wedding ceremony it will cost $1500 to hire the main auditorium, with a $500 damage deposit fee and additional fee’s for a sound & visual person.

  • No, our facilities are only available for ceremonies.

  • No. In order to book the venue you must be engaged.

Dinner Dates

Ps Dale & Rachel would love to invite you to join them around the table with other couples to enjoy food and great company. These nights are childfree and full of laughter and fellowship. Be sure to fill out the form so you can be notified of the next dinner event.

  • Vision does not provide any form of mental health or professional counseling services. Instead, we pastor our church through connect groups.

Connect Groups

We are looking for some extraordinary people to lead connect groups for married couples only.

If you are a connect group leader and interested in more training to specifically lead couples, please email Junior at nextsteps@visionchurchnz.com for more information on how you can obtain training and grow as a marriage leader. If you are interested in becoming a small group leader for the first time, you must complete the Next Steps and Academy 102.
